Food Group Servings
1 slice of whole grain bread (pumpernickel, sourdough, sprouted, etc.)
1 tablespoon of nut butter, ideally natural
1/2 banana, sliced
- Optional- honey lightly drizzled (if you need more sweetness), but careful of extra sugar.
Toast your bread to your desired amount.
Spread on your nut butter of choice.
Top with your sliced banana. Lightly drizzle honey if you need more sweetness.
Tips & Tricks:
- Ground cinnamon goes great with this combo.
