Pico de Gallo
All ingredients in this dish offer great health benefits that include immune health, digestion, and heart health!

2 tomatoes, finely diced
1/2 onion, finely diced
1 clove garlic, finely diced
1 tablespoon cilantro, dry or fresh
1/2 jalapeño, de-seeded and finely diced
2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 dash salt
Add onion, garlic, salt, and cilantro into a bowl and pour the lime juice of the ingredients. Let this sit for 5 minutes.
While the above ingredients are sitting, dice the tomato and jalapeño. After 5 minutes, add in the tomato and jalapeño (skip the jalapeño if sensitive to spice). Mix the contents and let sit in the fridge for 10 minutes. Then enjoy as a topping or dip!
Tips & Tricks:
- Extra jalapeño will give it more kick!
- Cutting the vegetables into small pieces is tedious, but will make it last longer.
