Ingredients

1 medium banana, cut into 1/2 inch pieces

1 tablespoon of natural nut butter, any type

3 small pieces of dark chocolate, ideally 70+% cacao

Instructions

Step 1:

Cut banana into 1/2 inch slices. Line a baking tray or plate with parchment paper.

Step 2:

Spread 1 tablespoon of nut butter over half of the banana slices  and top each with another banana slice.

Step 3:

Microwave the chocolate pieces in a small bowl/container to melt. Keep an eye on it while microwaving, as it does not take long to melt and may burn.

Step 4:

Dip each of banana & nut butter “sandwich” into the chocolate, covering half of the piece.

Step 5:

Place each chocolate covered sandwich on the lined plate or tray. The parchment will prevent the chocolate from sticking.

Step 6:

Once you are done with all of the pieces, place them in the fridge for at least 20 minutes. Enjoy  after the chocolate has hardened or cover and save them in the fridge for 3 days. Alternatively, you can freeze them for harder texture and make them last longer- as long as they are covered.
