Dark Chocolate-Covered Strawberries

Who doesn’t love chocolate covered strawberries? Try this recipe using dark chocolate to add a slightly different flavor and antioxidant benefits to the dish 🙂

6 medium strawberries
3 pieces of dark chocolate
Break up pieces of chocolate into as small of pieces as you can and place in a bowl. Place the bowl in the microwave for around 30 seconds or until the chocolate is all melted. Keep an eye on it, as it does not take long to melt and can burn quickly.
Spray a baking tray or plate with cooking spray or cover with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate. Twirl the strawberries around in the chocolate in a circular motion to ensure you cover all sides.
Place the tray/plate in the fridge for at least 15 minutes, or until hardened. If you have leftovers cover and leave in the fridge. They should be good for 3 days kept in the fridge.
