1/2 cup brown rice (jamine, basmati, wild good also)
Lime juice (1/2 lime equivalent)
1 tablespoon chopped cilantro, dry or raw
Other Ingredients
2 dashes of salt (one per serving made)
Black pepper- to taste
Instructions
Step 1:
Bring 1/2 cup of water to a boil in your saucepan.
Step 2:
Once boiling, add in the rice and half of the lime juice, lower to a simmer, and cover.
Step 3:
Follow the instructions for how long the rice will take. Usually it is around 25 minutes. When it is done (there should still be a little water left at the bottom when you stir the rice), add in the cilantro, the rest of the lime juice, and the salt and pepper. Mix contents thoroughly to spread the flavor evenly. Turn off the burner and enjoy!
