French Press Coffee

French pressed coffee is our favorite variety, as the healthy compounds in coffee are at their highest when brewed with this method!
Not a significant source of core nutrients.
Use 1 tablespoon of coffee grounds per 4 ounces of coffee. A standard 8-ounce cup, therefore, has 2 tablespoons of coffee grounds
Add your coffee grounds to the french press.
Bring your desired amount of coffee to a boil and add to the french press. Cover the french press with its top and let sit for 5 minutes.
“Press” down the french press so that the grounds are decently pressed in with the french press
Tips & Tricks:
- Use a low fat milk or creamer.
- Consider adding cinnamon, cacao, or ginger to the grounds prior to adding water for different flavor.
- Honey or maple syrup or good sweetener options. Use a teaspoon’s worth.
