Strawberries & Cream Overnight Oats

Dessert for breakfast?? Why not!? Pop into the fridge before bed and wake up to this creamy deliciousness.
Serving Size: ~1 cup
Recipe makes 1 serving.
Food Group Servings
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 unsweetened almond milk (vanilla)
1/4 cup plain Greek Yogurt
1/2 cup strawberries
- 1/2 teaspoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Optional: 1 Scoop Vanilla Protein Powder *
Add rolled oats, vanilla almond milk, greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract. Stir or shake well to combine.
Seal container and place in fridge overnight.
In the morning, remove bowl or jar from the fridge and stir/shake the mixture. If the oats appear a little dry, you may want to add a little more milk at this time.
Top oats with strawberry halves for serving. Mix together if you prefer.
Tips & Tricks:
- You can keep overnight oats in fridge for up to 5 days. You will probably need to add more milk as oats will soak it up.
- * Protein powder can be a great addition. Depending on the brand, you can add 20-30 grams of protein. If using, add in step 1 and make sure it has all dissolved during the mixing process. Feel free to try a vanilla or strawberry flavored protein.
